Position Summary:

Join the dynamic web programming team at Shoes For Crews, the industry leader in slip-resistant shoe technology. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in shaping the future of our world-class B2B e-commerce platform. As a Senior ColdFusion Developer, you will help drive the development of innovative new features, lead modernization efforts, and ensure the performance and reliability of our B2B operations — all while contributing to a culture of technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Design and develop new features and enhancements for Shoes For Crews’ industry-leading B2B shoe safety program.
• Assist in the modernization and improvement of our ColdFusion stack.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Support day-to-day e-commerce operations.
• Participate in our code-review process.
• Work with other Senior ColdFusion developers in a collaborative environment

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• 7+ years as a ColdFusion Developer; coding, designing, and optimizing high-traffic, mission-critical applications
• 7+ years creating Object-Oriented ColdFusion applications
• 3+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server
• 2+ years development experience with jQuery
• Development of ColdFusion applications, using CFCs, Object Oriented Designs and Concepts
• Experience with MVC-based, ColdFusion frameworks
• Experience building Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
• Experience consuming Web Services via jQuery (AJAX)
• Foundational knowledge of relational database design and development (T-SQL)
• Strong experience working both independently and in a collaborative environment
• Strong debugging/QA skills
• Experience developing customer-focused web applications
• A strong understanding of UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, and web development best practices
• Familiarity with website Accessibility guidelines is a plus
• Strong grasp of website security principles is a plus
• Experience with Source Control tools (e.g. GIT?) is a plus
• Experience with website optimization is a major plus
