POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Marketing Team, you will draw on your rich experience in copywriting to develop meaningful content that connects emotionally and converts into measurable business results.

As the B2B/B2C Copywriter, Editor and Content Creator, you are a strategic thinker who is comfortable planning, writing, and editing content for a broad range of projects (including campaign launches, print, web, mobile, blogs, video, and social media.) Projects will be diverse in nature, including headlines and sub headlines, supporting copy, product descriptions/launches, brand/program awareness materials, sales collateral, website content, presentations, themes, campaign development, and much more.

The B2B/B2C Copywriter will work in a highly collaborative way with others on the marketing and creative teams, as well those from Product Development, Sales, Operations, and other internal teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging for a multitude of business needs.

You will endeavor to understand our business, partners, programs, and marketing objectives and work to drive the business through compelling copy and supporting the unique and differentiated brand voice for multiple audiences.

You must be versatile in many different types of communications (both technical and ad copy) and possess the ability to move quickly and comfortably between multiple projects. You have a high level of comfort with a full range of content creation considerations.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Understand target audience to translate copy and design into compelling creative messaging
  • Develop compelling copy that differentiates the brand, is right for a diverse set of customers and consumers, and helps to aggressively drive key initiatives across verticals and sub-verticals
  • Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics appropriate for the target audience at hand
  • Write all levels of copy for digital and offline media, ensuring that style, tone, and voice are appropriately aligned with intended audience and client brand
  • Ensure written materials are clear, concise, and persuasive to help bring the creative strategy to life
  • Collaborate and work closely with internal teams to participate in all stages of the creative process - from brainstorming to conceptual development - to serve a wide content audience and business needs
  • Plan, write, edit, test, and improve content, including presentation decks, print and digital marketing assets, mobile and web interfaces, and other all other content
  • Participate with the marketing team in cross-functional meetings as a business communication expert
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with B2B and B2C audiences that drives action and adoption
  • Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands.
  • Deliver high-quality content on time
  • Ensure all written and marketing deliverables are edited and proofed for client reviews and final delivery

SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related major
  • 7+ years of relevant experience writing B2B and B2C for marketing communications, compelling ad copy, copywriting, content strategy or a related field
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in conceptual writing in marketing or advertising, web, product, brand messaging and promotional copy
  • Strong collaboration skills in inspiring the win-win-win
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
  • Must possess excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment when working with team members and take initiative
  • Able to work independently
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken essential
  • Experience working remotely or with remote teams via video conference and messaging tools
