Sr. Digital Graphic Designer

Position Summary:

The Sr. Digital Graphic Designer will play a key role in Shoes For Crews’ Creative Services Department. He/She will ideate and develop compelling, trendsetting creative that ties to the company’s brand strategy and engages DTC and B2B segments on current and emerging digital platforms, including paid media, paid and owned social, the SFC website, emails and 3rd-party partner sites. This individual will look for opportunities to elevate the Shoes For Crews brand and product messaging by merging creativity and technology. He/she will work cross-functionally with internal teams, such as Creative, Marketing, and Sales, as well as external agency partners.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design and manage content, including assets for paid media, social media, web, email, and other digital channels.
  • Create static, animated and video content to showcase new product launches, key marketing stories and featured product technologies for use on digital platforms.
  • Streamline the video workflow, including planning, editing and post-production, leveraging both internal and external resources.
  • Interpret creative briefs for each project; present design ideas to all the relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent brand look and feel across all company platforms.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Creative Director, Marketing, and other groups to execute marketing tactics.
  • Brief external partners on projects, including project scope, timelines, and deliverables, as well as manage projects to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Creation of digital assets supporting collateral, website, paid media, social media, and online publications as well as supporting email campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Develop multi-channel / omni-channel campaigns that leverage digital assets based on the customer journey.
  • Take ownership of the creative digital workflow, inclusive of project planning and resource allocation.
  • Adapt creative based on analytics to maximize performance.
  • Assist the Creative Director with photoshoot production, including coordinating with photographers, stylists, models, and other stakeholders to ensure successful photoshoots.
  • Use project management tools to manage workflow, assign tasks to team members, and track progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and consumer trends and technologies to develop best practices and continuous improvement within the Creative Department.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in a professional, digitally-focused design role with a motion graphics component.
  • A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity.
  • Expert knowledge of design software programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, After Effects, Premiere), Canva or similar platforms.
  • Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects.
  • A team player who is proactive with exceptional organizational and technical skills.
  • Possess high attention to detail, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple projects with minimal direction while meeting deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly in a growing, dynamic company.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • 5+ Years of experience in a related field and/or position
  • Photo/video shoot production experience is a plus
